Despite packing in four cores, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system that comes with it alongside Huawei’s proprietary power management system ensures you will be able to enjoy up to 30% in energy savings.

On to what would whet most peoples’ appetites – the hardware specifications the Ascend D Quad is touted to be the fastest smartphone in the market at the moment, sporting a 4.5″ 720P high definition touchscreen display, a 32-bit true color graphic processor, Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound audio as well as Audience earSmart voice technology. Want to snap great looking photos? Not a problem, thanks to its 8-megapixel BSI rear-facing camera, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, as well as the ability to shoot 1080p full HD video-capture and playback capabilities.
